Snow fall over Minneapolis, MN made for beautiful winter scenes throughout the St. Anthony Main and Stone Arch Bridge area. The late November snowstorm called for me to head downtown to capture the first real snow of the year.

Arguably one of the most photographed spots in Minneapolis, the Stone Arch Bridge offers a unique, perfectly balanced view of the downtown skyline. When you throw a little bit of winter magic into the mix, the snowy scene creates a serene, nostalgic look of the city.

I've made an added effort to dream up more creative shots to add more of a wow-factor to my portfolio. No matter the subject, shutter speed adjustments can be a great way to do that. With the incredible advancements in internal stabilization technology, I've been able to hand-hold in situations where I would've had to utilize a tripod with my old camera.
