RED OUT - SMSU VOLLEYBALL VS. CONCORDIA ST. PAUL
SMSU Volleyball hosted their Annual Red Out, in honor of former Coach Terry Culhane and President Kumara Jayasuriya; both have suffered from heart attacks. Today's game, sponsored by Avera, aimed to bring awareness to heart health.
3 Mustang Seniors were also recognized in today's game - Rachel Fink, Alisa Bengen, and Meg Schmidt. Each player hit incredible accolades this year: Fink reaching 100 career service aces, Bengen reaching 2,000 career assists, and Schmidt reaching 1,000 career kills.
SMSU falls short to CSP in a 5-set comeback, with a 12-15 score in the final set. The Mustangs will take on Mankato in their final home game of the 2022 season tomorrow at 4pm in the PE Gym.
