Hennessey Performance doesn't build unlimited numbers of anything. The truck photographed for Jeff Belzer's carries serial number 018. That's not a detail that gets lost on you when you're walking around it with a camera. This is a documented piece of American performance history, and it shows in every line of the build.

WHAT HENNESSEY DOES TO A RAPTOR R

The starting point is already formidable — the stock Ford F-150 Raptor R makes 700 horsepower from its supercharged 5.2L V8. Hennessey takes that and builds upward. The centerpiece of the VelociRaptoR 1000 package is a 3.8L Whipple supercharger system paired with a high-flow air induction upgrade, upgraded heavy duty supercharger belt, anodized billet fuel rails, upgraded fuel lines and fittings, and an air/oil separator system. The result is right there in the name — 1,000 horsepower.

But Hennessey's work doesn't stop under the hood. The VelociRaptoR 1000 gets a full visual transformation: a VelociRaptor front bumper, matching VelociRaptor rear bumper, 20-inch Hennessey wheels wrapped in 37-inch off-road tires, a front and rear suspension leveling kit, and a 3-inch overall lift. Every build goes through chassis dyno tuning, up to 500 miles of road testing, and leaves the shop backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
