A summer of hard work, great experience, and lots of fun! Kruse Motors welcomed me aboard in February of 2021, and let me join full time for the summer of 2021 as a marketing intern! From photography and campaign management to the launch of an all-new home delivery brand, Kruse offered me a holistic view of what marketing looks like in a dealership setting.
Key achievements this summer:
As a dealership, we sold 313 cars in the month of July alone! This was part of our 2nd Annual Firecracker 300 Sales Event. We added a donation for each car sold during the event this year, which raised over $3,000 for local non-profits - including a student-led cause at SMSU, Mindful Meals.
We developed a consistent organic reach (roughly 75k per month) on social media, promoting specific vehicles, services, and events at the dealership. These posts did a great job of generating leads for our sales team, educating our consumers, as well as displaying a professional brand image on our social platforms.
Working with our website provider, we optimized and redesigned many of our dealership web pages. Our Kruse Ford site especially improved, really pushing for a consumer-friendly mobile experience.
Kruse Motors has reassured me that I want to work in the automotive industry. Getting to work with new technology in the dealership and in the cars themselves, working with a young and innovative team, and being able to grow in so many areas professionally - it was all incredibly rewarding. Maybe the best of all was getting access to some awesome cars for some extra attention with my camera! Enjoy the gallery below of some photography work I did with Kruse!
