My sister and I walked the Stone Arch Bridge on the morning of Christmas Eve. I captured photos around the city, and I couldn't help but appreciate all of the opportunities and growth I have experienced through this passion for photography.
Travel photography brought me around the Midwest and DMV areas capturing holidays, scenic landscapes, cityscapes, and history. One of my most memorable days behind the camera was the day before the Derek Chauvin Trial (click here to view those images). Experiencing the angst, hope, and fear around this trial was a feeling I'll never forget.

Kruse Motors provided a great number of opportunities within automotive photography, marketing, and ultimately has helped me pave a path towards future career aspirations. I have been able to pursue my passions, give back to the community through my work, and gain great perspective from some of the industry's most prominent leaders.
In addition to my on-the-job experience, the car culture in Minnesota was another great way to get connected with others in the industry and capture incredible vehicles. Shades of the Past, MN Cars & Coffee, and Caffeine & Octane were some of my favorite events this summer! Thank you to all of the hardworking people that helped put those events together!

Last but not least, I grew a ton in sports photography in just a few experiences. I had the great privilege of shooting the 2021 NSIC Volleyball Tournament at the Sanford Pentagon. Thank you to Harold's Photo of Sioux Falls for a great lens rental experience (the Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 was an absolute beast)! Volleyball is such a dynamic, fast-moving sport that can be incredibly difficult to capture but I had so much fun learning, experimenting, and talking with professionals throughout the tournament. I'm excited to watch these Mustangs take the court next season!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me - whether that was booking a session, buying a print, or following me on social media; I greatly appreciate the love and push to keep growing in my early years of photography. I invite you to check out the rest of my blog, follow me on Facebook and Instagram, and contact me if you would like to learn more about Andrew Miller Photography. Here's to 2022!
