Traveling to Virginia from Minnesota for Thanksgiving felt like I traveled back in time. Virginia still had some beautiful fall colors in some areas, while Minnesota's were long gone. With the short time I had in Virginia, I brought my parents along to some of my favorite spots.

Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Drive is perfect for all ages and showcases the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The photo above was taken only a couple of miles in from the Front Royal entrance!

Great Falls Park (pictured below) was another great stop on our day trip. While the leaves had all about fallen in this area, the roaring Potomac River was an exciting site! We hiked here for a couple of hours then headed to Sterling, VA for lunch - across from a ton of car dealers: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, BMW, Maserati... Yes, I drove through the lots to check it out.

It was another wonderful trip out east, and I'm very thankful for my time out there with my family! I hope you enjoyed the updates on social media while I was out there! If you haven't already, follow me @amillerjpg!
